Landshut, miasto w Niemcy|Niemczech (Bawaria), nad rzeką Izara|Izarą. Ze względu na umieszczone w herbie trzy hełmy bywa również nazywane Miastem trzech hełmów

Historia

Miasto Landshut wraz z zamkiem Trausnitz zostały założone przez księcia bawarskiego Ludwika Kelheimskiego. Od 1231 roku było siedzibą rodu Wittelsbachów, od 1255 także książąt bawarskich.

W roku II wojnie światowej co 4 lata (następne planowane na czerwiec/lipiec 2009).

Od końca monachijskiej Bawarii. Miasto bezpowrotnie straciło na znaczeniu na rzecz obecnej stolicy kraju związkowego.

W roku 2004 miasto świętowało 800-lecie powstania.

Sport

6 lipca 1997 w mieście na Stadion Ellermühle rozegrano Grand Prix Niemiec w sporcie żużlowym 1997|żużlowe Grand Prix Niemiec '97.
