Pasawa: Guide
Pasawa (Niemczech. Znajduje się w Dolna Bawaria|Dolnej Bawarii (Bawaria). Zamieszkuje je około 50 tys. mieszkańców. Najbliżej położone duże miasta: Norymberga ok. 200 km na północny zachod, Praga - ok. 150 km na wschód i Monachium - ok. 150 km na południowy zachód. Nie zostało zburzone podczas drugiej wojny światowej.
Pasawa położona jest u zbiegu trzech rzek: Dunaju, Inn i Ilz, z tego powodu nazywana "miastem trzech rzek".
Najstarsze znaleziska archeologia|archeologiczne w okolicy Pasawy sprzed 250.000 lat świadczą o dawnym znaczeniu tego regionu. Transport sól|soli rzeką Inn uczynił z tego miejsca ważny węzeł handlowy. W trakcie rozwoju miasta i regionu wzniesiono wiele zamków, kościołów i innych budowli. W 739 roku stała się siedzibą biskupa. Jedną z większych warowni jest Veste Oberhaus, której budowę rozpoczął w 1219 r. arcybiskup Ulrich II. Budowa trwała do XIX wieku. Veste Oberhaus znajduje się przy ujściu trzech rzek - dokładnie pomiędzy Ilz i Inn i należy do największych zamków obronnych Europy.
Innym bardzo ważnym obiektem jest katedra. W obecnym kształcie została odbudowana w 1662 roku. Posiada największe organy kościelne świata z 17.774 piszczałkami i 233 rejestrami.
