Jedną z liczniejszych grup stanowią Polacy, około 10 000 tysięcy (polski kościół i tygodnik "Polski Kurier"). Bournemouth jest jednym z ulubionych nadmorskich kurortów Anglicy|Anglików, cieszy się ogromną popularnością zwłaszcza wśród londyńczyków.
